National SummerPlay Coordinator wanted for 2021
The InterPlay Australia Board is looking for a National SummerPlay Coordinator
SummerPlay is InterPlay Australia’s premier annual program of events.
The National SummerPlay Coordinator (NSC) plays a key role in liaising with stakeholders and coordinating the national events program across Australia and at times New Zealand. The National SummerPlay Coordinator is a volunteer role.
Interplay Australia is seeking the services of a NSC to ensure the SummerPlay events run smoothly and successfully.
As the NSC, you will be supported by the InterPlay Australia Board and the Administration Coordinator to liaise with the Regional SummerPlay Contacts nationally.
The Board is seeking an InterPlay community member with a passion for SummerPlay events. Your strengths, qualities and experience will include -
- A love of InterPlay principles such as incrementally and easy focus.
- An interest in event coordination.
- Ability to engage and inspire others through organising the event.
- Organisation skills and attention to detail with ability to finalise tasks and meet timelines.
- An interest in advertising and marketing events
While the hours required to be successful in the role will vary as the year progresses the Board anticipates this role may require an average of 4-5 hours per month.
This role would also suit a person new to event management who would like to gain some experience in this area.
A small honorarium is awarded by InterPlay Australia at the end of the year for this voluntary role.
