"Board moves" at AGM Leaders Gathering 2017

A huge thank you to all those who gave us such creativity and revitalising energy at a fabulous Leaders Gather in the beautiful Queensland Hinterland at Koonjewarre which means ‘Where the Earth meets the Sky’. We were delivered a feast on the theme of ‘Nourishing the Heart of our Play’. Special thanks to organisers Lizzy Emanuele, Kate Barnett and Rebecca Amery, supported seamlessly by the generous Greer Dokmanovic and many others.

At the InterPlay Australia AGM Trish Fairley was affirmed and her commitment to InterPlay Australia celebrated as she stepped down from her role as Chair of the InterPlay Australia Board after 3 years and from 10 years of Board membership. She was also honoured with InterPlay Life Membership.

As a long time InterPlayer and Board Member I have stepped up as the new Chair. I am a leadership coach/trainer by day. My marriage to Allegra Stocks is the highlight of each week and we share our life with Luca (doing his year 12 exams) and Isabella in year 10 (who is heading overseas to Vietnam and Laos for a month) and our GSP "Cino" who earns he keep by emotionally nourishing each of us and taking us for long walks.

We welcomed on-board a new Board Member from the SA Leaders. Mandy Price. Mandy is Marriage Celebrant and Workshop Facilitator who came from an extensive teaching career. We are really enjoying Mandy's warm and passionate engagement and openness to putting her hand up.

At our first Board meeting this month we were literally ecstatic to welcome the talented Sue Sheridan into the Administration Coordinators role. Sue will be working closely to support the Board and the work and community of InterPlay Australia.

We are sad to be farewelling Steph Gesling from the Communications Coordinator role and wish her every happiness and success in her new work as a Mission Project Worker with the Uniting Church.
