SummerPlay comes to Sale 9-11 January

SummerPlay is a three day event that will gently immerse you in the easy-body practices of InterPlay. InterPlay is an integrating and playful process that brings more light, fun, understanding and beauty to the world we live in.

Certainty about what is going on in and around us would be great, but the truth is that life is full of twists and turns. Did you know, though, that you can actually be prepared to respond in the moment? InterPlay is a set of incremental tools and ideas that can help us face uncertainty to find wonder, laughter, joy, community, recognition, affirmation, and support. Its incremental approach to play uses movement, story and sound.

What if it turned out that we weren’t to face the uncertain future alone, but instead to find our way into it together? Join InterPlay Australia co-founder Trish Watts and InterPlay co-founder Phil Porter (from the US) for “untensive” play full of connections and possibilities. Come if you are brand new to InterPlay or have played for a long time. Bring a friend, make new friends, and learn new ways to explore your own gifts, experience and creativity in community.

FOOD

We will be providing lunch, morning and afternoon tea each day. There will be options for those who have specified their dietary needs eg gluten free.

KITCHEN HELPERS

An essential part of our 3 day workshop community is the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Each day we need 3 or 4 people (different folk each day will spread the joy of kitchen tasks). This means seeing that all is ready in the kitchen for morning tea and lunch each day.

It’s straightforward and fun but makes a huge difference. Kitchen helpers will be unwrapping/plating/bowling/etc. food. It will involve food preparation, such as cutting up fruit.

All participants pitch in with the washing up, that’s not left to the daily kitchen helpers.

Please let Susanna or Jenny know by email if you are available to be a kitchen helper.

TRANSPORT.
Best way is to drive, or to fly to Melbourne and then catch a train.
We may be able to offer some lifts from Melbourne.
We can also pick people up from Traralgon Station and the Sale Station.
Please contact us if you need assistance.
