Kate is a joy-recovery expert who can’t take play too seriously! She is also an Alexander Technique teacher, trained to help people move and sound and breathe and be with their whole body. For Kate, improvisation brings us alive to the whole and InterPlay is a wonderful big Yes! to it all. Her facilitation approach offers compassionate and playful ways for people to attune to themselves as they connect with others and expand their creative body skills repertoire.
Kate is currently based in Wellington, Aotearoa NZ, working in private practice as an ATTSNZ Alexander Technique teacher with a focus on creative movement, voice and performance. She has a BA (Hons) in Social Ecology, a Diploma of Alexander Technique teaching and a Diploma of Alexander Yoga Teaching. For many years she has also been deeply inspired by the experiential anatomy and movement research practices of Body Mind Centring.
